Anti-govt protests erupt in Serbia, Speaker calls it 'civil war'
Around 1.4 lakh people staged protests in Serbia’s Belgrade on Saturday against President Aleksandar Vucic’s 12-year rule, demanding early elections. “They didn’t end their gathering by shouting ‘Long live Serbia'. They ended it with a chilling call to murder Serbia, a monstrous and open call for civil war," said Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic. Police have detained dozens of protesters.
