Anuja Vaidya: First Indian woman in international waterskiing
Anuja Vaidya from Surat participated in the Asian Waterskiing & Wakeboarding Championships in Thailand from June 24-29. She is the first Indian woman to compete in international waterskiing. The 27-year-old's tryst with the sport began nearly seven years ago, when she started training in the River Tapi. She is also a mountaineer and has climbed the world's seven summits.
