Army to get India-made 'SAKSHAM' grid to shoot drones in real time
The Indian Army has started the process to procure 'SAKSHAM' Counter Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Grid, reports said. The network, developed in collaboration with Ghaziabad-based Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), is aimed at tracking, identifying and neutralising enemy drones in real time. The need for such a network emerged after Operation Sindoor, when Pakistan attacked India's civilian areas.
