Ashwin responds after CSK clarify Dewald Brevis' signing
After CSK issued a clarification on signing Dewald Brevis during IPL 2025 season, Ravichandran Ashwin responded to the confusion over his remarks suggesting CSK may have paid extra to acquire him. Ashwin stated neither the player, franchise, nor governing body was at fault. He added when a franchise needs a replacement, it approaches the player or agent and informs BCCI.
