Assam Fire and Emergency Services and the State Disaster Response Force are rescuing animals from floods amid heavy rainfall in the state. In Dibrugarh, a dog stranded in floodwaters on Sada Shiva Path was rescued and brought to safety, according to The Better India. In another incident, a horse was pulled to safety from the flooded Sonarighat area in Dhemaji.
