Astronauts make 'Space Sushi' at ISS to satisfy crewmate's craving
Astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) made "space sushi" to satisfy a crewmate’s craving. NASA astronaut Jonny Kim shared that while it wasn’t like sushi on Earth, it was enjoyable. The crew used packaged rice, canned spam, space-approved fish, gochujang, and wasabi from their rations. The meal showed their creativity and teamwork in making comfort food in space.
