Australia accuses Iran of role in attacks on Jewish restaurant & synagogue, expels envoy
Australian PM Anthony Albanese on Tuesday accused Iran of orchestrating anti-Semitic attacks in the country and announced expulsion of Tehran's ambassador. Albanese said Australian intelligence had linked Iran to two incidents, an attack on a Jewish-run restaurant in Sydney and another on a Melbourne synagogue. Both cities had recorded rise in anti-Semitic events since Israel-Hamas war broke out.
