B'desh interim chief Yunus calls for revival of SAARC at UNGA
Speaking at the UN General Assembly, Bangladesh's interim government chief advisor Muhammad Yunus called for the revival of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) grouping. "We believe SAARC still holds potential to deliver welfare to hundreds of millions in our region," he added. SAARC comprises India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
