B'desh women's coach suffers brain stroke amid Women's World Cup
Sarwar Imran, the head coach of Bangladesh's women's cricket team, suffered a minor brain stroke in Colombo on September 29, just days before their opening match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 against Pakistan. He was taken to a hospital after he reported dizziness, following which a minor stroke was confirmed. Imran is now said to be stable.
