Bangladesh head Yunus' bank had links with al-Qaeda: Report
Bangladesh's interim head Muhammad Yunus' global microfinance Grameen Bank has connections with individuals identified by Western intelligence agencies as financiers of Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaeda, claimed a report by BLiTZ. Yunus won Nobel Peace Prize for establishing Grameen Bank. al-Qaeda donor Md Abdul Latif Jameel was a board member of Grameen-Jameel microfinance, the report noted.
