Bank CEO refuses to stop clerk's transfer on MLA's request, suspended for 'hurting MLA's ego'
The CEO of Central Cooperative Bank of Sidhi district was suspended for allegedly using unparliamentary language against a woman MLA in Madhya Pradesh. He told MP High Court he was suspended as he refused to stop a clerk's transfer, which the MLA had asked to be cancelled. The court noted this to be "MLA feeling ego hurt by [CEO's] refusal".
