Bengaluru Uber driver arrested over harassment
A Northeast woman in Bengaluru shared a viral video alleging harassment by an Uber auto driver, Pavan HS, who reportedly abused, threatened, and tried to hit her after a ride cancellation on October 2, 2025. The driver has been arrested by Kothanur Police. Uber India has apologised, and the woman praised police for swift action ensuring commuter safety.
