RJD leader and Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav has lost the Chapra Assembly seat to BJP's Chhoti Kumari in the 2025 Bihar elections. Chhoti Kumari secured 86,845 votes against Khesari Lal’s 79,245 votes, winning by a margin of 7,600 votes. The 39-year-old artist, born in Chapra, joined the RJD in the presence of party leader Tejashwi Yadav on October 16.
