Bidadi waste plant powers 25,000 Bengaluru homes daily
Bengaluru's ₹314.74 crore Bidadi waste-to-energy plant generates up to 11.5 MW daily from 600 tonnes of dry waste. BSWML CEO Karigowda says it can power 25,000 homes. The pollution-free facility uses non-recyclable plastics and could expand to supply electricity for 1 lakh households.
