Bihar, which witnessed re-polling & violence for years, sees zero re-poll this year
Bihar didn't see a single re-polling in the 2025 Assembly seats. In the 1985 Assembly polls, nearly 60 people died in poll-related violence and re-polling happened in 156 booths. In 1990, 1,239 polling booths saw re-polling, and 86 people died in violence. In 1995, Chief Election Commissioner TN Seshan said he'd have to cancel polls if violence persisted.
