BJP's 'divisive agenda' in Assam crossed all limits: CM Mamata
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee accused BJP of pursuing a "divisive agenda" in Assam by targeting Bengali-speaking citizens for asserting their linguistic identity. Calling it "discriminatory", she said Bangla is Assam's second-most spoken language and warned that people will resist such persecution. She added, "I stand with every fearless citizen who is fighting for dignity of their language."
