Mohit Kamboj, a 41-year-old rising BJP leader in Mumbai and a close associate of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, has retired from active politics to focus on his business in bullion and real estate. Despite past roles as Mumbai BJP VP, youth wing chief, and assembly candidate, he stepped back over the past six months, surprising party circles.
