BMC begins mental health survey, to interview 3,600 Mumbaikars
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has begun a survey to assess the mental health of Mumbaikars. Accordingly, 3,600 randomly chosen citizens from across all 24 wards and people from all social strata, including migrants, will be interviewed. A similar survey was conducted in 2016, where around 14% of the urban population was found to have depression and mood and anxiety disorders.
