Anurag Kashyap revealed that after the success of 'Satya' and his other projects, Boney Kapoor wanted to sign him for a film. He recalled, "[He] told me, ‘Just point to any building from Bandra to Juhu, I'll buy you a flat there.'" "I thought...if he’s offering me...flat before my film’s release, maybe after it comes out, I'll get...bungalow," Anurag added.
