Boost for Navy as India to add 25 new ships in 3 years
India is set to commission over 25 ships in the next three years, boosting the Navy's strength to 150 vessels. Currently, 54 ships are under construction, including Project 17A warships, ASW ships, survey vessels, and diving support vessels. The expansion reflects India's blue-water ambitions amid China's growing maritime presence in the Indo-Pacific.
