Brazil offers cruise cabins to poorer nations amid room shortage for COP30
Brazil, host of the COP30 climate summit, is offering free cruise ship cabins to poorer nations due to a room shortage. Around 50,000 delegates will gather in the city of Belem, which usually has 18,000 hotel beds, from November 10-21 for the UN climate conference (COP30). As of October 31, 149 countries had confirmed lodging, while 37 were still negotiating.
