Britain to invest ₹22,000 cr to build 18,000 affordable homes
Britain will invest £2 billion (nearly ₹22,000 crore) to build up to 18,000 social and affordable homes in the country. "This investment will help us build thousands more affordable homes to buy and rent and get working people and families into secure homes," housing minister Angela Rayner said. The construction of homes will begin in March 2027, the government said.
