Brothers from Delhi rescue 23,000 birds entangled in kite strings
Delhi-based brothers Nadeem and Mohammad Saud have rescued over 23,000 birds, including kites, owls, and hawks, entangled in dangerous kite strings or manjhas. Despite no formal wildlife training, they run an NGO, Wildlife Rescue, treating injured birds. Their efforts, fuelled by donations, aim to raise awareness and reduce harm caused by kite flying, which severely threatens bird populations.
