BTC, Ethereum drop amid protests in China over COVID-19 curbs
The world's largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin on Monday fell 3.2% at one point to trade at about $16,170 as of 12:40 pm in Tokyo. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, fell about 4%, while others like Solana, Avalanche and Dogecoin witnessed even sharper losses. The drop in the market comes amid protests in China against the COVID-19 lockdown.
