Can't always speak in terms of party interests: Tharoor on praising PM Modi-Trump meet
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who lauded the outcome of PM Narendra Modi’s meeting with US President Donald Trump, said he can't always speak only in terms of party interests. " I'm not a party spokesman. I'm an MP...I speak as...responsible stakeholder in Indian democracy," Tharoor said. "If I were to criticise [always], no one would take me seriously," he added.
