Centre earns ₹800 crore by selling scrap in 1 month, more than Chandrayaan-3's cost: Report
The Centre earned ₹800 crore by selling scrap from October 2-31 during a massive cleanliness drive, taking the total collection from the project since 2021 to nearly ₹4,100 crore, News18 reported. The latest monthly collection is higher than the cost of ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission, which cost ₹615 crore. Under the October 2025 campaign, 29 lakh physical files were discarded.
