Centuries-old shipwreck found in Vietnam after Typhoon Kalmaegi
Severe coastal erosion caused by Typhoon Kalmaegi revealed a centuries-old shipwreck in Vietnam's Hoi An, as per reports. The wooden ship, about 17 meters long, is believed to be from 14th to 16th centuries when Hoi An was busy trading port. Authorities are now seeking permission to dig it out, calling it proof of city's role in regional trade.
