Cheetahs breeding much better than expected: Environment Minister
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav called 'Project Cheetah' "very encouraging". "Cheetahs are breeding much better than expected. These developments, in such a short period...are unprecedented in other parts of the world," he said. India brought 20 cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa. "We now have 28 cheetahs...in Kuno National Park & Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary," he added.
