Chegg to fire 45% of workforce due to 'new realities of AI'
Online education company Chegg announced plans to lay off 388 employees globally, representing about 45% of the workforce. "The new realities of AI and reduced traffic from Google to content publishers have led to a significant decline in Chegg's traffic and revenue," the company said. It further reappointed Dan Rosensweig as the firm's CEO, replacing Nathan Schultz.
