China forces Apple to remove LGBTQ+ dating apps from App Store
China's internet regulator has forced Apple to remove the country's popular LGBTQ+ dating apps, Blued and Finka, from the country-specific App Store, reports stated. Although China decriminalised homosexuality in the 1990s, it recently put pressure on LGBTQ+ community and censored their content/accounts on social media apps. Users who had previously downloaded the banned apps can still use them.
