A chopper carrying seven people, going towards Gaurikund from Kedarnath Dham, crashed in Rudraprayag district on Sunday morning, IG Garhwal Rajiv Swaroop said. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami confirmed the chopper crash, without revealing the casualties, adding, "SDRF, local administration and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations."
