Claim of Mamdani wanting NYC kids to learn Arabic numbers is false
Claims on social media which say that New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will require elementary school students in the city to learn "Arabic numerals" are false. Mamdani has not yet made any announcement regarding his education policies. Meanwhile, a social media user commented on the claims saying, "You know MAGAs are dumb and don't know Arabic numerals are literally numbers."
