Class 10 boy branded with hot iron, beaten up during ragging in hostel in Andhra
An instance of ragging emerged in Andhra Pradesh, where a Class 10 student was allegedly harassed by his dorm mates. The 16-year-old victim, Gurram Vincent Prasad, was brutalised and branded with a hot iron box on his arms and abdomen. The incident came to light when his mother visited the hostel to meet him and noticed the injuries.
