Colleagues said I'm 'not fit to fly plane, must stitch shoes': IndiGo pilot on casteism
An IndiGo trainee pilot has alleged casteist insults at work, claiming three senior officials told him he was "not fit to fly a plane" and "must stitch shoes" instead. An FIR was registered on the police complaint of the 35-year-old, who belongs to a Scheduled Caste. He alleged he suffered "professional victimisation" through unjustified salary cuts and unwarranted warning letters.
