College bans jeans, T-shirts a year after banning hijab in Mumbai
The Acharya Marathe College in Mumbai has issued a new dress code, banning students from wearing jeans and T-shirts. "Students should wear formal and decent dress...on campus," the college stated. This comes days after the Bombay High Court dismissed a plea filed by nine students of the college, challenging the college's dress code banning hijab which was issued last year.
