Comet 3 times bigger than Mount Everest heading towards Earth
A "horned" comet three times bigger than Mount Everest is heading towards Earth after it exploded for the second time in four months, scientists have said. The comet named 12P/Pons-Brooks measures 18.6 miles (30 kilometres) in diameter. Some experts said the shape of the coma (the cloud gas surrounding its centre) makes the comet look like a science fiction spaceship.
