Comparing iBomma's Ravi to Robin Hood is ignorant: Ram Gopal Varma
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma addressed the comparisons made between piracy website iBomma's owner Immadi Ravi and the folklore hero Robin Hood. He wrote, "The funniest thing is Ravi supporters [are] proudly comparing him to Robin Hood." He added, "It takes tonnes of ignorance to romanticise a criminal as a saint simply because the recipients are getting stolen goods for free."
