Complaint filed against Sunburn Festival organisers for 'insulting' Lord Shiva in Goa
Congress leader Vijay Bhike filed a police complaint at Mapusa, Goa, against the organisers of the Sunburn Festival claiming they insulted Lord Shiva. "Organisers have...insulted the religious feelings...by portraying that Lord Shiva supports drinking alcohol," the complaint alleged. Meanwhile, AAP leader Amit Palekar said the deity's image flashed on the screen when attendees drank and danced.
