Congress neglected Arunachal as it has only 2 Lok Sabha seats: PM
PM Narendra Modi criticised the Congress for neglecting Arunachal Pradesh and the entire Northeast for years. "They believed that since Arunachal has a small population and has only two Lok Sabha seats, it does not deserve attention," he said. "I resolved to free the nation from this thinking...I visited Northeast over 70 times after becoming the PM," he added.
