Congress seeks action on BJP leader's 'Rahul will be shot' remark
Congress general secretary KC Venugopal wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah after BJP spokesperson Printu Mahadev allegedly threatened Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on TV. During a debate, Mahadev said, "Rahul will be shot in the chest." Venugopal called it a "cold, calculated and chilling death threat" and demanded swift action, warning against "complicity and normalisation of violence".
