Couple loses ₹22 lakh after their startup goes bankrupt, sells it 6 yrs later for ₹210 cr
New Yorkers Mike and Kass Lazerow lost $25,000 (₹22 lakh) life savings after selling their startup, Golf.com, to Chipshot in 2000 for $500,000 (₹4.3 crore). They lost money after Chipshot went bankrupt after a funding round fell through. They then bought back Golf.com and, after gaining traction via Tiger Woods' success, sold it in 2006 for $24 million (₹210 crore).
