Court cancels ₹3,900 crore fine imposed on Trump for fraud
A New York state appeals court on Thursday cancelled a $454 million (over ₹3,900 crore) fine imposed on US President Donald Trump. The fine was imposed in 2024 after a judge found that Trump fraudulently overstated the value of his properties and other assets to secure better business deals. The appeals court said that it's "an excessive fine".
