Court orders airline to pay ₹98 crore to passenger for ignoring stroke symptoms in US
A US court has directed American Airlines to pay $11.06 million (about ₹98 crore) in damages to a passenger who suffered a stroke during the flight from Miami to Madrid. The passenger's wife had reportedly alerted the flight attendants and pilot about his sudden symptoms, like losing his ability to speak, but they ignored it and cleared him for take-off.
