CR Kesavan accuses Congress of altering Vande Mataram
BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan alleged that the Congress, under Jawaharlal Nehru's leadership, removed stanzas praising Goddess Durga from Vande Mataram in 1937 to appease communal groups. In a post on X, Kesavan called it a "historic sin," contrasting it with PM Narendra Modi's initiative marking the song's 150th year with a nationwide recital of its full version.
