Crashed Air India plane had clean history, pilots were exceptional: Tata Sons Chairman
Tata Sons and Air India Chairman N Chandrasekaran said the Boeing 787-8 plane that crashed in Ahmedabad moments after takeoff, had a "clean history". "The right engine was...put in March 2025. The left engine was last serviced in 2023," said Chandrasekaran. He said the two pilots were also "exceptional", adding, "We can't jump to any conclusions (about the crash)."
