Crores of Muslims disagree: Muslim Jamaat chief on Madani's 'jihad' remark
All India Muslim Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi Barelvi reacted after Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind chief Mahmood Madani defended jihad, saying, "If there is oppression, there will be jihad." "Not just me, but crores of Muslims in India do not agree with his statement," Barelvi said. "He shouldn't provoke or instigate Muslims...Crores of Muslims trust Supreme Court & Parliament," he added.
