Ex-India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik opined that people in Tier 1 cities don't turn up to watch Test cricket, while the crowd comes in "bigger numbers" at smaller centres. "Kanpur is a great example...You can see the interest," he said. Karthik added it's a "fact" that there has been a "dwindling" amount of interest in red-ball cricket in Tier 1 cities.
