CrowdStrike shares dip 14% as firm's update causes Windows outage
Shares of American cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike dipped over 14% in pre-market trading on Friday after issues with its latest update were linked to a global Microsoft Windows outage. Microsoft's shares also plunged more than 2%. The outage has affected several industries including, airlines, banks, media outlets, brokerages and telecom firms across the world.
