Dearness Allowance (DA) of central government employees under the 5th pay commission has been hiked from 443% to 455% of their basic pay, Finance Ministry's Department of Public Enterprises announced. DA for central government staff under the 6th and 7th pay commission have been hiked to 246% and 53% respectively. The hike will be effective from July 1, 2024.
