Dalit engineer hit with shoe at his office by BJP worker in UP
Lal Singh, an engineer, was hit with shoe at electricity department's office in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia on Saturday by two dozen men, including BJP worker Munna Singh. The engineer said Munna abused him using casteist slurs. Munna claimed Lal abused him first when he went to him with a complaint regarding power disruption in nearby villages.
